Maximus is a PVC and leather composite. The manufacturer's specification lists an 85% PVC / 15% leather composition, 1.4mm ±0.1mm thickness and 137cm finished width. It is designed for demanding upholstery applications, with no visible track after 30,000 flexing cycles, no peeling in the reported peel test, 4-grade wet and dry rub fastness, no yellowing track after 24 hours of UV exposure, and no track after 3,000 CS-10 abrasion cycles at 1,000g. The specification reports tear strength of 28N warp / 36N weft, tensile strength of 425N warp / 276N weft, elongation at 100% of 70% warp / 152% weft, and a 4-grade flexing result.
