Munich gives the look and feel of suede in a hard-wearing polyester microfibre. A Hydrocare treatment helps the surface resist water and staining, it is hydrolysis resistant, and its backing (polyester, PU and cotton) gives it body for seating and panel work. As standard it is tested to cigarette-ignition fire standards only; check the fire rating before specifying it for any application that needs a match test or Crib 5.

Is Munich suitable for UK domestic furniture?
As standard Munich is tested to the cigarette-ignition test only. UK domestic upholstered furniture normally also needs to pass a match test, so Munich would need a compliant interliner or treatment for that use. Ask us before ordering.
