Nubuk
Nubuk is a lightweight polyester microfibre with an even, nubuck-like surface and a soft, velvety touch. It weighs 336 g/lm, is rated to over 30,000 abrasion cycles and comes in 23 colours.

Nubuk has a smooth, even surface and a soft, velvety hand, giving a nubuck look in a breathable 100% polyester microfibre. It is hydrolysis resistant and lighter than Munich, which suits it to panels, inserts and lighter-duty seating. As standard it is tested to cigarette-ignition fire standards; an optional back-coating is available for BS 5852 Source 0 & 1, Crib 5 and IMO Part 8 — this must be requested when ordering.

No. Nubuk is our name for a polyester microfibre with a nubuck-like finish. It contains no leather.
Can Nubuk be used for contract seating?
Only with the optional back-coating, which takes it to Crib 5 and IMO Part 8. Request it when ordering and ask for the certificate for your batch.
