Material information

Floor and wall lining, built to last underfoot

Lining Carpet is a rigid-backed roll material laid directly onto floor or wall surfaces, typically over wood or bare metal, sometimes with a foam scrim underlay. It's the standard expected material for VW campervan conversions specifically, and holds up to everyday underfoot wear noticeably better than stretch fabrics sometimes used as a floor substitute, which tend to tear and catch over time. Features: • Firm, carpet-style construction — cut and fitted, not stretched • Standard expected material for VW campervan floors • Outperforms stretch fabric underfoot • Multiple colourways available Request Lining Carpet Samples.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between headlining fabric and lining carpet?

Headlining is a thin stretch fabric for roofs and upper walls where it needs to follow curves. Lining carpet is heavier and rigid-backed, for floors and flat wall panels where wear resistance matters more than stretch.
