Scrim Foam
Scrim foam is a thin foam with a fabric backing, used as a soft layer between a panel and the finished trim or lining. We stock it in 5mm and 10mm thicknesses.
Frequently asked questions
What is scrim foam used for?
It is fitted between a hard panel and the finished fabric or leather to give a padded, even surface and to hide minor imperfections in the panel underneath. Common uses are headlining, door cards and seat trim.
