1. Who we are
This website is run by Reficio SOS Scotland Limited, trading as Danilo Lucchi ("we", "us", "our"). We are registered in Scotland under company number SC857454, and our registered office is 17 Flowerhill Street, Airdrie ML6 6AP. Reficio SOS Scotland Limited also trades as Reficio-SOS, a vehicle trim and interior repair business. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this policy or your information, contact us at info@danilolucchi.co.uk, by phone on 0141 576 2970, or by post at Unit 5, Carrongrove Business Park, Ochil Drive, Falkirk FK2 8NZ.
2. The information we collect
When you contact us. If you use our enquiry form, email us or phone us, we collect your name, company name, email address, phone number, the products you are interested in and anything you tell us in your message.
When you buy from us or open a trade account. We hold the details we need to supply you: names and contact details, delivery and invoice addresses, order history and payment records. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, Dojo; we do not see or store your full card details.
When you visit the website. Our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so that the site can be delivered and kept secure.
We do not intentionally collect any special category information (such as health data), and we ask you not to include it in messages to us.
3. How we use your information and our lawful basis
We do not sell your information, and we do not make decisions about you using solely automated processing.
- To answer your enquiry, send samples or prepare a quote. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To supply orders and manage trade accounts. Lawful basis: performing our contract with you.
- To keep accounting and tax records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To run and secure the website. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure and working website.
- To tell you about our products. We will only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, or if you are an existing customer and we gave you the chance to opt out when we collected your details. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us.
4. Who we share it with
Danilo Lucchi and Reficio-SOS are both part of Reficio SOS Scotland Limited. If your enquiry is about fitting or repair work rather than materials, we may pass it to the Reficio-SOS team so they can help. We will not use your details to market Reficio-SOS services to you unless you have agreed to that.
We will also share information if we are required to by law.
- our website hosting provider (Vercel Inc.);
- our payment provider, Dojo, which processes card payments on its own secure payment page — we never see or store your full card details;
- our email service provider, which sends order confirmations and delivers enquiry-form messages to us;
- our accounting and stock management system (Sage);
- couriers and delivery companies, for orders we send out;
- our professional advisers, such as accountants, where necessary.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers, including our website host, are based in or process data in the United States or elsewhere outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards permitted under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual terms, to protect your information.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 2 years after our last contact with you.
- Customer and trade account records, including orders and invoices: 6 years after the end of the financial year in which the last transaction took place, to meet our legal and tax obligations.
- Website server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited period in line with its own policies.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests, and to object at any time to direct marketing;

8. Cookies
This website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. It does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
